Solebury Estate

Our team designed and installed lighting, walkways, patio spaces, and a variety of plantings for this Solebury home. The elements of this Bucks County property are coordinated in this comprehensive landscape design. To install elements like stone walls, we coordinated with the home building contractor and local mason to ensure walls were built at a height and location as designed by our team and to ensure cohesion with the architectural details. Our team designed and installed generous yet practical bluestone walkways to connect existing and proposed spaces, including a new patio. Utilizing full-color range bluestone in walkways and patio spaces makes this space feel expansive.
The planting design throughout this site consists of shade trees, ornamentals, shrubs, and perennial ground covers in a rhythmic pattern. A variety in height of trees and shrubs creates depth throughout this site and around the architecture. This property contained several acres of reclaimed Bucks County farmland and was a blank canvas for plantings. To respond to this, our team spaded in several mature trees, framing the size and scale of the home. With our extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, the planting beds were neatly arranged for easy maintenance. A Coastal Source landscape lighting system is strategically arranged to allow features to be highlighted in evening hours and ensure safe pathways throughout this property.
